CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

At Covenant, we are growing children into independent adults. We encourage children to participate in all aspects of worship and in supporting the church community. Children often pass out bulletins, collect the offering, gather canned food for donation to Rio Grande Food Project, and more. Children are encouraged to participate in the worship service and in Children’s Chapel during the sermon.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS

NURSERY

Even the smallest of our Covenant Kin are welcomed in and encouraged to be present with their families in worship. Nursery services for young children, aged birth to 5 years, are available during worship, Sunday School, and many other adult focused church events.

CHILDREN'S CHAPEL

Each week, after the "Moments with the Children," children in Kindergarten to 5th grade are offered a more interactive worship experience focusing on the day’s scripture and on learning how to participate in different elements of worship. The children then return to the worshipping community during the hymn following the sermon. Nursery care is available for Pre-Kindergarten children.

School Children

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Covenant has adopted the Montessori-based, Godly Play curriculum for children ages 2 through 12, in which children explore their faith through story, expand their religious language, and enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Godly Play is offered on Sunday mornings from 11:00-11:45 AM.
